Hyun Bin in Singapore

Hyun Bin, or Kim Joo Won if you know the name of the character better, is coming to meet his fans from Singapore for the first time, on April 27, 2013!

After completing his two-year mandatory military service, South Korean actor Hyun Bin will embark on his First Asia Fan Meeting Tour next month.

The star of hit dramas like Secret Drama and My Name is Kim Sam Soon will be in town on 27 April to sing and entertain his fans for two hours at the Max Pavilion.

Hyun Bin rose to fame in 2005 after starring in hit drama My Name Is Kim Sam Soon, and his popularity skyrocketed along with the success of Secret Garden in 2010. The actor was enlisted into the army at the peak of his career in 2011, but he received a warm welcome from his fans that have waited patiently for his return when he was discharged last December.

The organizers, Faith&D and O& Entertainment describe the fan meeting as a 'fun-filled evening' which will allow fans to have an 'emotional connection experience' with Hyun on an elaborate concert stage with special effects.

The heart-throb, who is heavily sought after in his home country for all kinds of endorsements and magazine editorials, left behind a trail of broken hearts when he enlisted in the Korean Army at the height of his fame two years ago.

To date, the 30-year-old continues to be one of the most sought-after commercial model and actor.  Despite his tight schedule with upcoming comeback projects in the pipeline, Hyun Bin has set aside time to go on the fan meeting tour to reciprocate the fans’ support.

The currently single actor previously dated fellow Korean actress Song Hye Gyo, his co-star on drama Worlds Within but the high profile Hallyu romance soon cracked under excessive media scrutiny.

Tickets are available on SISTIC and are priced from $88 to $248 for premium seats.
