Guitar legend Santana to rock Singapore

The guitar maestro and 10-time Grammy Award winner is set to rock Singapore again on 4th March.

The 65-year-old Mexican-American, who's been named among the 100 Greatest Guitarists of all time, is touring in support of his latest album Shape Shifter, which has been dedicated to the Native American Indians.

Santana released his latest album Shape Shifter this year with a new label Starfaith Records featuring Chester Thompson on keyboards, Dennis Chambers on drums, Benny Rietveld on bass, Salvador Santana on keyboards, Raul Rekow on congas and Karl Perazzo on percussion.

The album has 13 songs with only one song featuring vocals by Santana’s vocalists Andy Vargas and Tony Lindsay.

He is also well known for chart-topping collaborations with pop and rock vocalists. He collaborated with Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20 for ‘Smooth’, ‘Put your lights on’ with Everlast, and ‘Maria Maria’ with The Product G&B.

This will be his third time performing in Singapore, having held concerts in 2008 and 2011.

Book you tickets now to see Santana setting the stage on fire once again.

Having sold more than 100 million records, Santana has won 10 Grammy Awards, including a record-tying nine for a single project, 1999's Supernatural, which yielded the smash hit "Smooth".
