Google launches a new project dedicated to young people

The company began a new program dedicated to young people interested in computer science, a program that is called Rise Awards 2015.

A new edition of RISE Awards started on Monday, awards dedicated to encourage young people in undergraduate education to choose a career in computer science.

Google partnerships with organizations worldwide to run programs designed to help access for girls, minorities and students with poor socio-economic situations in computer science education. The company provides these organizations with grants between 15,000 and 50,000 dollars, and organizations that promote computer science through extracurricular activities are chosen to take part in the program.

Those interested can enroll in the program until September 30. 42 organizations worldwide have received grants from Google in the RISE Awards for various programs and clubs in Europe and camp programming for developers in sub-Saharan Africa.
